Improving on their Monarch 5 design, Nikon’s 8×42 Monarch M5 Binoculars present a wider field of view for a more immersive observational experience, while maintaining the same focus on comfort and performance the Monarch line is known for. Extra-low dispersion glass, anti-reflection multicoating, and dielectric-coated, phase-corrected roof prisms deliver bright, high-contrast images with true-to-life color and minimal color fringing.

Premium Optical Performance
With 8x magnification, the M5 Monarch binoculars bring distant subjects in close, but are easy to hold steady. The generous 42mm objective lenses produce a bright image, even in lower-light conditions like dawn and dusk. Extra-low dispersion glass minimizes chromatic and spherical aberrations, while phase-correcting prism coatings reduce internal interference to improve light transmission, contrast, and resolution.

Use and Handling
The roof prism design and closed-bridge configuration provide a compact and comfortable form factor. High-eyepoint design provides ample space between your brow and the eyecups for a clear field of view, even when you’re wearing glasses, and the twist-up/click-stop rubber eyecups make glassing a pleasure, with or without eyewear. The large slip center focus wheel allows for precise focus control, even while wearing gloves. Dioptric adjustment and a wide interpupillary range allow for easy use by a wide variety of people. The M5 Monarch can be mounted with the optional adapter.
