The Holga 135BC 35mm Film Camera is designed for photographers who appreciate light leaks, soft focus, and classic vignetting that lend a distinctive character to their images. The Holga 135BC features an internal mask that trims the corners, creating a gentle vignette effect reminiscent of the original 120 Holga camerashence the name BC, or “Black Corners.”

The Holga 135BC features an approximate focal length of 47mm. Focusing is achieved by rotating the lens barrel to align with the icon that best matches your shooting scenario, covering distances from 3 feet to infinity. As a fully manual camera, film advancement is controlled entirely by the photographer. After capturing the first image, advance the film one full frame to shoot the next photo, or choose to expose the same frame multiple times for creative multiple exposures. Partial film advancement also allows for panoramic or overlapping effects.

The camera features a shutter speed of approximately 1/100 second, with an additional “B” (bulb) mode that keeps the shutter open for extended exposures. This bulb setting enables long-exposure photography, ideal for capturing night scenes without flash or experimenting with light painting. When using bulb mode, a tripod and cable release are highly recommended to ensure stability. The camera uses 35mm film and includes a hotshoe adapter compatible with standard flash units for added lighting options.
