Introduction

The Octagonal Softbox highly increases the softness of the Nanlite MixPanel 150 LED light, and it also reduces contrast. The octagonal shape is ideal for portraits, closeups, fashion shoots, and talking heads when you want to capture natural-looking, circular catchlights in your subject’s eyes.

The octagonal softbox features both an inner and an outer layer of diffusion in order to provide the softest possible light. A custom-fitted fabric grid is also included to give the softbox even more directional control and to minimize unwanted spill. The interior of the softbox has a reflective silver coating that intensifies the light output of the MixPanel 150.
