The Negative Supply 4×5 Light Source Basic MK2 (99 CRI) is the next generation in our line of light sources. It follows the popular 5×7 Light Source Pro, but with a more compact design. It is perfect for scanning 35mm, 120, and 4×5 film, with the same high-quality build expected from our “Pro” tools. With options for 97 CRI and 99 CRI, this light is suitable for all users, even those dealing with the most vibrant and detailed film. The second generation MK2 is optimized for accurately scanning color films and features an internal acrylic element that provides increased brightness and perfect light uniformity for sheet film up to 4×5. Its compact form efficiently dissipates heat during long scanning sessions.

Previously, when using our 5×7 Light Source Pro and Pro Mount MK2 together, the Pro Mount MK2 would rest on the corners of the light source. However, our new 4×5 Light Source Pro allows the Pro Mount MK2 to sit above the light without touching it. This means that taller feet are needed for your Pro Mount MK2 (sold separately).
