Nikon GP-N 100 GPS Unit

Introduction

The Nikon GP-N 100 allows you to Record location information directly to the Exif data of photos taken with a Nikon 1 V1, V2, or V3 camera. It mounts directly into the hot shoe of the camera, which also provides power, and then it can record latitude, longitude, altitude, and a universal time. The GPS updates once per second and has an accuracy of 33′. Also, it can acquire satellites in 3 seconds with a hot start or 40 seconds with a cold start. Additionally, it has a USB interface for updating the firmware and GPS files.
