This screw-in lens hood was originally intended to be used only in combination with the original (and now discontinued) Nikon 52mm circular polariser filter. It will not fit on new type “II” circular polariser filters, but it can be used with 60mm threaded polarising filters in conjunction with the AF-1 52mm Gelatin Filter Holder for 3 x 3 inch Filters. Simply screw your 60mm polariser in front of the AF-1 filter holder, and then screw this hood into the front threads of the 60mm polariser.
