Pelican’s 1607 Air case features a protective foam interior, double-throw latches, rubber handles, and removable card holder. Designed to cut weight without compromising durability, this strong, lightweight, case is molded from the next generation of Pelican’s HPX resin, a proprietary formula that rebounds without breaking. The Air case also offers honeycomb structural elements that are stronger than solid polymer material, as well as super-stiff “full box” sections engineered to create hollow parts, making the case 40% lighter than other polymer cases.
