The difference between Hot Shoe Adapter F & Hot Shoe Adapter FG is that the “FG” version allows the use of a camera’s pop-up flash while the “F” version obstructs use of pop-up flashes but has a flash shoe of its own.
Note: The longer 9.5′ (2.9 m) long F5PL (#37349) can be substituted for the F5P Extension Cord in this combination if a greater distance is required between the camera & flash
