It connects from the TetherBoost Pro USB 3.0 Core Contoller DC port to the USB port of an external battery pack such as the Rock Solid External Battery Pack. The TetherBoost USB DC Power Cable is ideal for providing mobile power when shooting on location or away from wall power for long stretches of time. Adding the additional power to the TetherBoost Pro USB 3.0 Core Controller will allow longer tethering distances as well as supplement battery power from the cameras battery, increasing the cameras battery charge life.
