Introduction

Variable Neutral Density Filters reduces the amount of light passing through the camera lens without changing the color of the scene. They are especially useful in bright light conditions to help prevent overexposure. Neutral Density filters also allow proper exposure at a wider lens opening for reduced depth-of-field to highlight a key subject by making the foreground and/or background out of focus. NDs are must have filters especially if you are thinking of doing more landscape and nature photography.

The Variable Neutral Density Filter works similarly to a Circular Polarizer; simply adjust the filter until you achieve your desired result. This versatile filter provides a wide range of control over the light entering your lens, with an approximate range of 2 (ND 0.6) to 8 (ND 2.4) stops, preserving the quality of your image.
